If skipping leg day isn’t an option, even if you’re heading to New Zealand's largest New Year's festival - don’t sweat.
Aotearoa’s first pop-up gym is hitting Rhythm and Vines!
This pop-up gym - The Red Bull Shred Shed - is the first of it’s kind in NZ. Festie goers will be able to join a 60-minute sweat session that combines cardio and weights, and a next-level recovery session featuring ice baths.
The workouts will be led by fitness trainer duo, Amber and Willis Alatini – best known for their boutique Auckland gym ‘The Cobalt Club’.
Even if you aren’t the biggest gym fanatic, you could head to gym to start your New Year’s resolution early - how can you turn it down, when there’s legit trainers who can guide you through it.
Hitting the gym before texting your mates to 'meet front left' means that 1am burger you smash back doesn't reeeeally count, right?
From December 29–31, hourly sessions will run from 8.00am to 3.00pm near the Waiohika and Gardens stage.
There’s space for 30 people per class - so grab your mates, ‘cause they have absolutely no excuses. To secure your spot, grab your mates and head over at least 10 minutes before your preferred session starts.
And please, for the love of God, don’t forget to pack activewear - your festie fit might not cut it for a proper sweat sesh.
Right, time to start planning your workout schedule now, ‘cause you R&V goers are about to be all about that grind.
