Flybuys NZ is closing for good after an almost 30-year run of offering a loyalty programme to Kiwis.
In a Facebook post today, the organisation revealed it would be disappearing at the end of this year.
"Thank you to all our members who have supported Flybuys over many years. It's been a privilege to be part of so many Kiwis' lives," the post said.
They also mentioned that "nothing changes for now" and members can keep earning Flybuys points until 11.59pm on October 31st.
Fom there, Kiwis have until 11.59pm on December 31st to spend their points before they disappear forever.
People have been reacting to the news, with many sad to see the loyalty programme go.
"I have been with you guys since day 1 so sad to see this closing down," worte one Facebook user.
Another said: "Oh no. I've been a member since it began and I love it. I've been able to get a lot of things that I couldn't have otherwise. This is so sad. 🥲"
"Wow been a member 27 years - I guess all good things come to an end 👋," added a third
