Dave Grohl’s daughters have deleted their social media accounts after the Foo Fighters frontman admitted to cheating and fathering a baby with another woman.
Earlier today, Grohl said in an Instagram statement that he is “doing everything to regain trust and earn forgiveness” from his wife Jordyn Blum and their three children.
Since the news broke, Grohl’s two oldest daughters - 18-year-old Violet and 15-year-old Harper - have stepped away from all of their social media accounts.
Violet previously went by @viioletgrohl on Instagram and Harper used the handle @harpergrohll.
Both girls have also deleted all traces of their popular TikTok accounts.
Fans of not only Grohl, but those who followed his daughters have been reacting to the decision to stay clear of social media.
“Feeling hella parasocial, but I hate that Violet Grohl and Harper Grohl deleted all their social media,” one person wrote on X.
The girls' often showed off their relationship with their dad on social media - just recently Harper and Dave did the viral 'Apple Dance' on her TikTok.
Violet is also a keen musician, following in her dad’s footsteps. The two collaborated on the Foo Fighters’ song titled ‘Show Me How,’ with Violet adding moody harmonies over her father’s voice.
She has also joined the band on stage at multiple concerts, including their Glastonbury set last year.
You’ve gotta bloody feel for everyone in this situation right now.
