Andrew Powdrell from Turiroa Angus shares his experience of dealing with severe weather that struck Wairoa recently, leading to the postponement of their much-anticipated 80th-anniversary bull sale.
Amidst flooding, road closures, and evacuations, Powdrell offers a raw glimpse into the challenges faced by the farming community, recounting the logistical chaos of rescheduling events and distributing defrosted seafood to neighbours.
