Kiwi singer and songwriter Kaylee Bell is about to dive ‘Boots N All’ into motherhood this February, sharing the exciting announcement with her Instagram followers today.
A post featuring Bell on the red carpet alongside her partner, Nick Campbell of Kiwi band Midnight Youth, was captioned: “Been cooking more than music this year...our own little cowboy coming Feb ‘25.”
In an interview with the NZ Herald, Bell opened up about her journey, revealing that she “never thought she would get the chance to add ‘mother’ to her long list of accomplishments.”
She shared the struggles she has faced with her health over the years, particularly with endometriosis, which led to a two-decade battle with the healthcare system, “questioning if it was even possible to fall pregnant at all.”
2025 is planned to become a massive year for Bell, with a headline tour for both New Zealand and Australia set to be announced, along with the release of a new album.
Bell is determined to have the best of both worlds, saying: “Women, we can do everything we want to do.”
“My biggest thing is I’ve never shied away from challenges. I really want to prove that you can do both.”
