From Finance To Farming: Cam Henderson's Unique Path To Agricultural Governance

"Farming's a great teacher for a number of different business aspects... that breadth of experience is really valuable when you step up to that board table," he says.

At 27, Cam Henderson swapped his finance and robotic engineering studies for farming boots, starting as a dairy assistant and eventually climbing to governance roles in major co-operatives like Dairy NZ and Ballance Agri-Nutrients.

Henderson shares the significant differences between managing a personal farm and serving on large co-op boards, highlighting the importance of governance training programs like "To the Core."

He also discusses the current winter weather and conditions in North Canterbury
