ACT MP On He Waka Eke Noa Scrapping + Embracing Methane Innovation

With promising technologies on the horizon, Hoggard is optimistic about achieving significant methane reductions by 2050.

The coalition Government announced on Tuesday that they will officially be scrapping the He Waka Eke Noa partnership effective immediately.

ACT MP Andrew Hoggard talks to Dom George about the significance of this decision, how removing the ETS backstop will offer financial relief to Kiwi Farmers and more on how the final decision was made.

He also talks about the reactions to the announcement, particularly within rural communities, as well as touching on future plans for methane reduction and the role innovation will play in achieving the desired results.
