A couple of pranksters at a festival have posted an oldie but a goodie online - the classic 'tie something of value to a fishing line and reel it in as an unsuspecting victim tries to grab it'.
Posted to Instagram by @techyesnotechno, the video starts on a cloudy day in what seems to be the food/drink area of the festival. Music pumps in the background as our fisherwoman (equipped in a top-tier festival fit - visor, tutu, and flare print leggings) crouches down and casts the baggie.
It soars through the sky and lands perfectly at the feet of a bloke with a backpack who's no doubt thinking it's his lucky day. He reaches down to pick it up before it yanks back towards the caster and the guy realises he's been duped.
Check out the clip below.
The second victim of the prank is in a legendary festival fit, outshining our prankster. I mean the bloke has a giraffe balloon in one hand and a beer in the other, a Pikachu t-shirt, a fluffy rainbow-striped hat, and a dressing gown that's come straight from Jimi Hendrix's closet.
Sheer commitment is how I'd describe his attitude towards grabbing that baggie. I count three times he reaches down and it could've been a whole lot more if he was out a bit further. He only realised he was the victim of some horseplay when the horseplayers were right in front of his eyes.
His demeanour and laugh suggest he's probably had enough 'bait' already today. I mean you probably could have tied a rock with 'good time' written on it and he would have chased it around the festival, not stopping once to question why the rock is moving in the wind.
Nothing like a little harmless fun to keep the spirits up on a dreary festival day.
